Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade servers, systems, hardware, and software across Windows and Linux environments to ensure stable and reliable operations.
- Troubleshoot system, application, hardware, and network issues, perform root-cause analysis, and document resolutions.
- Manage Linux systems including user administration, package management, service configuration, performance tuning, and OS-level troubleshooting.
- Strengthen security by applying patches, monitoring vulnerabilities, managing access controls, and enforcing compliance and security standards.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls, network switches, and wireless access points to maintain secure and efficient network connectivity.
- Provide workstation and helpdesk support, resolve end-user issues promptly, and coordinate with internal teams on escalations.
- Administer GitLab, including user and access management, integrations, runner configuration, and repository support.
- Support application deployments, configuration updates, and environment troubleshooting across development, test, and production environments.
- Create automation scripts, manage system backups and restores, perform daily monitoring and log reviews, and maintain accurate IT asset and server inventory.
- Routine update of an Inventory management system of servers and IT assets.
- Plan and implement a backup system for applications, databases, and network device configurations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related programs such as BE, BIT, BIM, BCA, or BCIS.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a relevant role.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft and Linux environments, virtualization technologies, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to learn quickly, conduct independent research, and adapt to new technologies.
- Relevant certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or cloud platforms are preferred.
- Proven ability to think creatively and develop effective solutions under time-sensitive conditions.
- Experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Zabbix or similar technologies.
- Preferred knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
